March 2011 BanaLogic Launches E-waste recycling program

With BanaLogic continued commitment to conserving natural resources and protecting our environment; BanaLogic is now offering its’ customers a simple easy way to recycle their printer cartridges. By using BanaLogic’s remanufactured replacement printer cartridges and returning the empty printer cartridges via a pre-paid method back to their manufacturing facility for reuse avoiding the disposal of “e-waste” into landfills. The unique manufacturing process, retains the integrity of the plastic cartridge core giving up to five life cycles of cartridge use rather than one for OEM’s or two for other refill methods. And finally once they have reached the end of their life, these cores are broken down into plastic pellets for manufacturing.

Jan 2010 BanaLogic Launches its’ digital field audit solution for greater mobility and convenience

An easy-to-use field audit solution that allows auditors to conduct station audits, capture results by hand written texts and instantly upload the results to a central database via the use of a digital pen. The system also allows for user created forms and supervisor review and approvals.

Dec 2009 North Carolina Approves BanaLogic’s OBD Upgrade Kit

BanaLogic’s off-the-shelf OBD upgrade kit allows owners of the BL-A100 safety only analyzer to perform emission tests. The simple plug and play design allows the analyzer to become a dual purpose analyzer system.

Oct 2009 BanaLogic Launches its’ Dial- up- to Internet  Gateway Device

A plug and play router like device specifically designed to transmit data on the internet. This turn-key solution allows legacy inspection analyzers to connect to the VID through High Speed Internet without the need of any Analyzers hardware or software modification. It eliminates the need for an inspection facility to have a dedicated PSTN line and reduces communication costs to program manager.

November 2008 - State of North Carolina Mandates Electronic Authorization Software

The State of North Carolina mandates Electronic Authorization (E-Authorization) effective November 1, 2008. Physical stickers will no longer be placed on the windshield of the vehicle. Upon passing an inspection, an electronic authorization number will be assigned to the vehicle which will appear on the inspection report and will provide the state with an electronic record of the inspection. The Electronic Authorizations will apply to both safety and emission inspections. 3000 units of BanaLogic's BL-A100 dual purpose inspection analyzers were deployed to meet the change in the programs process.

July 2007 - MDE Launches OBD Wireless Pilot

The Maryland Department of Environment implements BanaLogic's Remote OBDII Emission Diagnostics Solution on a pilot basis. With help from the University of Maryland, a number of campus fleet vehicles were equipped with BanaLogic's Remote Testing Units (RTU). Emission related data was successfully collected and wirelessly transmitted to BanaLogic's vehicle inspection database for monitoring and reporting.

March 2007 - BanaLogic Launches OBDII Wireless Solution

BanaLogic launches a WIFI based On-board Diagnostic (OBD). The remote testing unit (RTU) solution requires no direct line-of-sight between the wireless receiver and the on-board OBD recording unit. The on-board OBD recording unit is a simple plug-and-play solution that can be easily installed by the vehicle owner themselves in a couple of minutes. The solution does not require any wiring or cumbersome antenna installation. Read More

June 2006 - Air Check Virginia Remote Sensing Enforcement Program

BanaLogic gets selected to design and develop Air Check Virginia’s On-Road Enforcement Management Application. The system interfaces and collects data from a number of sources including the vehicle inspections database, the on-road emission collections agent and the department of motor vehicles. The system itself is a web-based application with comprehensive functionality to review, manage, notify, and follow-up on vehicles identified with excessive emissions. The system also allows for the tracking and reporting of the low income repair assistance program.

February 2006 - MDE launches OBD pilot for fleet program

The Maryland Department of Environment selects BanaLogic’s OBD solution for its fleet testing pilot program. BanaLogic’s OBD-II Emission Inspection System is designed and developed as a turn-key emission inspection solution that requires minimum training to operate. The core module is a BanaLogic designed embedded computer with no moving parts using non-volatile flash memory storage and passive cooling technology. The system is not affected by dust and works under a high range of operating temperature. The system is designed to accept remote software and configuration updates seamlessly in the background without affecting the system’s normal operation.

December 2005 - BanaLogic Launches Next Generation OBD Solution

BanaLogic launches the BL-A100 On-board Diagnostic (OBD) analyzer system for vehicle emission testing. Unlike other emission testing solutions that use regular desktop computer as the computing platform, The cost effective BL-A100 main inspection computing module is a specially designed embedded computer with no moving parts using non-volatile flash memory storage and passive cooling technology. The system is not affected by dust and works under a high range of operating temperatures.

August 2005 - Virginia’s Department of Environmental Quality implements CARS®to assist in its compliance enforcement program.

BanaLogic’s proprietary compliance analysis reporting system CARS® is one of the most complex and comprehensive compliance data mining packages in the industry. The system allows users themselves to use pre-defined and or create ad-hoc data mining queries and “Triggers” to find program anomalies and identify fraud in next to real-time. The automated notification feature reduces the time and effort required to identify problem areas and brings them to the attention of the appropriate personnel in a timely manner. The system can gauge the effectiveness of the audit process thus providing program administrators the ability to follow a full-circle QA/QC process to accurately assess the performance of the program.

  March 2005 - BanaLogic Launches CARS®

BanaLogic launches a sophisticated report application specifically designed for Inspection and Maintenance (I /M) program management. The Compliance Analysis Reporting System (CARS®) was designed as an off-the-shelf product that easily integrates into the existing program infrastructure, providing comprehensive data mining and reporting
