Customer Service Technician - Burlington, North Carolina

We are currently looking for someone to join our team-based organization with a passion for supporting customers, loves technology, and not afraid to learn new things . 

Job Responsibilities

  • This job will involve servicing customers as part of a team using a combination of telephone, remote support, and/or field service.

  • Installation of new equipment and training of customers on the use of new equipment

  • Diagnose and trouble-shoot basic computer hardware/software problems

  • Building, Repairing and testing of emission test equipment

  • Some office administrative tasks 

  • Opportunity for involvement in supporting other products in the company

Requirements

  • Good problem solving skills! Listen to the customer and quickly diagnosis or plan of action to resolve the customers issue

  • Ability to document the call interaction in our customer ticketing system

  • Communication skills, both over the phone and in person are a must!

  • Full-time ours 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday (with paid vacation)

  • Valid Drivers License & good driving record is imperative

  • Past experience as a DMV inspector or operating emissions inspection equipment is a bonus!

  • Ability to learn new things quickly, work independently, and to be counted on to get the job done
